A New Age for Revolutions

After the revolution in Egypt that took place this month, it appears that other Authoritarian countries are getting nervous about the use of social media networks and even mass text messaging. Here's an article from the New York Times about Chinese Security Officials trying to prevent a protest.

  1. People are always talking about China being the next super-power, is it possible for a country that doesn't allow tweeting and googling to become a super-power? It is hard to think that they could. People need to be able to express themselves or they won't be happy... maybe we have another protest on our hands... see my post on protesting :)....
